​Al-Sadd lost to Al-Kharaitiyat 4-2 in a preseason friendly played on Friday night at Jassim bin Hamad Stadium. The friendly match was divided into four quarters of thirty minutes each. The match was part of the preparation for the upcoming 2015/16 Qatar Stars League.

This friendly was the fourth and the final practice game for Al-Sadd before they open their league campaign on September 13 with a match against Mesaimeer. ​

The Wolves started the match with the following XI: Musa Mohammed , Jaser Yahya, Lee Jung Soo, Omar Yahya, Ahmed al Herdi, Nadir Belhadj, Hamad Mansour, Talal al-Baloushi, Ayoob Mashhoor, Hamza al Sanhaji, Meshaal al Shammari.

The first two quarters ended goalless and in the third period, Al-Sadd brought on a number of players: Meshaal Barsham, Abdulla Shams, Yusuf Abdulrazaq, Saoud Ibrahim, Abdulrahman Nasser, Alaadeen Younes, Abdulla al Meseiki and Ghassan Waheed.

Al-Kharaitiyat striker Yahia Kebe opened the scoring for his team in the third quarter after a solo effort before adding a second minutes later. Saoud Ibrahim reduced the deficit for us with a great strike from outside the box and the third quarter ended with Al-Kharaitiyat leading 2-1.

In the fourth and final quarter, Waleed Jassim scored the third goal for Al-Kharaitiyat before Ahmed al-Herdi scored our second from the penalty spot. With that, the match ended 4-2 in favour of Al-Kharaitiyat.
