Al-Sadd lose to Al-Shamal in QatarGas League

Al-Sadd Reserves lost 1-2 to Al-Shamal in Round 3 of the QatarGas League at the Saoud bin Abdulrahman Stadium on Monday. With this result, Al-Sadd have a tally of 6 points after two wins and a defeat.
Al-Shamal took the lead in the 22nd minute through striker Ali Feridoon before Maher Haddad added a second in the 32nd. Seven minutes later, Al-Sadd were awarded a penalty which was dispatched successfully by Meshaal al-Shammari thereby reducing the deficit. In the second half, Al-Sadd worked hard to get back into the game, putting pressure on their opponents and would have done so were it not for the wasted chances. Eventually the second half also ended with the same scoreline, with Al-Shamal winning 2-1.
The reserve team had started the game with the following lineup: Steven Tedja, Gaser Yahya, Abdulrahman Nasser, Omar Yahyam Hussain Bahzad, Alaadeen Younes, Ayoob Mashhoor, Hamad Mansour, Nasser Ibrahim, Meshaal al-Shammari, Saleh Bader. Yousef Abdulrazaq, Ali Faydh and Saoud Ibrahim entered in the second half.
