Al-Sadd launch preparations for Al-Duhail clash

The Al-Sadd first team kickstarted their preparations for the upcoming QNB Stars League Round 9 clash with Al-Duhail, which is set to be played on November 2 at the Abdullah bin Khalifa Stadium.

The players had earlier been given two days off as rest, following the 2-1 win over Al-Ahli in Round 8. Currently, the Wolves are in third place in the league table with 15 points from 6 games, having won five of them and lost one. Al-Sadd have yet to play the two delayed games against Al-Arabi and Al-Khor.

During Wednesday’s training session, head coach Xavi Hernandez and his staff focused on physical and technical skills, before conducting a practice mini-game in the centre of the training pitch.

The team is now scheduled to hold the main training session from 5:30 PM onwards on Thursday, which will witness coverage from the media.
