Al-Sadd intensifies preparation for Al-Wakrah

Al-Sadd first team continued to train on Monday evening as part of its preparation for the upcoming game against Al-Wakrah in Round 16 of the Qatar Stars League. The match will kick off at 7 PM on Thursday at the Saoud bin Abdulrahman Stadium in Al-Wakrah Club.
The technical staff were keen to itensify the training especially with a focus on tactics and skills, in order to build the required balance and harmony between the players and in the style of play. This is while keeping in mind that Al-Sadd have some difficult matches coming up in the next few weeks in both the league and in the 2016 AFC Champions League.
All the available stars took part in the session amidst some great spirit in the air with the resumption of the league. Meanwhile, Al-Sadd substitute keeper Steven Tedga continued his recuperation after getting injured before the Sheikh Jassim Cup match against Lekhwiya.

The Asian Football Confederation (AFC) was on hand to cover the training session on Monday for their YouTube channel. The team from AFC were witness to the Wolves preparation for the upcoming games against Al-Wakrah in the Qatar Stars League and against Al-Jazira in the AFC Champions League. The team also interviewed Al-Sadd players Talal al-Baloushi and Nadir Belhadj, in addition to former captain Abdulla Koni.
