Al-Sadd honours the youth teams

Al-Sadd SC held a ceremony to honour the players, technical staff and management of the various age group teams of the club and celebrate clinching the Annual Excellence Shield at the end of the season. The ceremony was attended by club vice president H.E. Nasser Mubarak Al-Ali, former president H.E. Abdullah bin Hamad Al-Attiyah, Head of Football Mr. Mohammed Ghanem Al-Ali and head of the age group teams Mr. Abdulaziz Al-Jeaidi.

During the ceremony, H.E Abdullah bin Hamad Al-Attiyah congratulated H.H. Sheikh Mohammed bin Khalifa Al-Thani and H.E Nasser Mubarak Al-Ali on being chosen as the President and Vice President of the club for another term. He then went on to congratulate the players for their various achievements during the season. He said: “Al-Sadd was born as a giant. It is like an academy and since it was founded in 1969, it has had an immense role in all the sports, especially football. Al-Sadd focuses on producing talents and helping the national team with the best players.”

Head of Football Mr. Mohammed Ghanem Al-Ali then delivered his address, welcoming the parents of the players and congratulating them for the success of their wards. He also made it clear that Al-Sadd is not just the football first team but rather it is a school. He went on to wish the very best to all the youngsters in the future.

Later, Mohammed Ghanem honoured the technical staff of the various teams, in addition to members of the media. Some of the parents also participated in giving away the awards.

The ceremony was concluded after a dinner banquet held by the club for the coaches, officials, players, parents and media.
