Al-Sadd holds main training session to prepare for Umm Salal

​Al-Sadd football first team held its main training session ahead of facing Umm Salal in Round 2 of the 2015/16 Qatar Stars League. The match will be played on Thursday at 6 PM at the Jassim bin Hamad Stadium.

The Wolves will go into the match having won their first three points of the season in Round 1 with a 4-0 victory over Mesaimeer. As for Umm Salal, they beat Al-Khor 2-0. The game will be a tough challenge for the Al-Sadd players who will look to give their best and continue with their winning ways.

The training session on Tuesday began at 6:15 PM at the secondary pitch of the club with the participation of all the players of the first team. The coaching staff gave priority to offensive and defensive techniques, in addition to practicing certain tactics and strategies. The players were seen to be focussed and in great spirits.

Change in match venue and time

Qatar Stars League has announced a change in the schedule for matches in Round 2. The Al-Sadd v Umm Salal match will now take place at the Jassim bin Hamad Stadium on Thursday at 6 PM, instead of the Suhaim bin Hamad Stadium at 8:15.

​Amouta and Saleh Bader to attend presser

Head coach Hussein Amouta and Saleh Bader will attend the pre-match press conference for the match which will be held on Wednesday at 11 AM at the Al-Bidaa Tower.
