Al-Sadd holds main training session to prepare for Al-Wakrah

Al-Sadd football first team held its main training session on Friday ahead of facing Al-Wakrah in Round 3 of the 2015/16 Qatar Stars League. The match will be played on Sunday at 6 PM at the Jassim bin Hamad Stadium.
The Wolves will go into the match looking to make amends for the draw in Round 2 against Umm Salal after winning their first three points of the season in Round 1 with a 4-0 victory over Mesaimeer. As for Al-Wakrah, they are without any points after losses to Al-Arabi and Al-Ahli.
The training session on Tuesday began at 6:15 PM at the secondary pitch of the club with the participation of all the players of the first team, except the four currently on national Olympic team duty: Muhannad Naim, Saleh Bader, Musab Khodr and Hamza al-Sanhaji.
The coaching staff gave priority to offensive and defensive techniques, before having a very competitive scrimmage in the middle of the pitch in which the players practiced certain tactics and strategies that are expected to be used in the match.
There was a particular focus on attacking tactics, with training given for attacking from the wings and from deep. A number of players shone in this regard.

Head of Football Mohammed Ghanem al-Ali (Bu Ghanem) attended the Friday training session to show his support for the team, ahead of the next match.
Final session and the list of probables
Al-Sadd will hold its final training session before the match on Saturday at 6 PM at the secondary pitch after which the coach will announce the list of probables for the match.
