Al-Sadd holds main training session to prepare for Al-Sailiya

​The Al-Sadd football first team held its main training session on Wednesday for the game against Al-Sailiya in Round 11 of the QSL. The match is set to kick off at 4 on Friday afternoon at the Jassim bin Hamad Stadium.
Al-Sadd go into the match sitting in third place in the league table with 21 points from ten games, having lost their last game against Lekhwiya 2-4. As for Sailiya, they are in tenth place with 10 points and defeated Qatar SC 5-0 in their last match.
During the session, the coaching staff tried to select the members of the first XI who will play against Al-Sailiya, especially as all the olayers are currently available with the team and are trying to impress their new coach.
Head coach Jesualdo Ferreira corrected the mistakes of the players in their movement and also made the players play a practice match between themselves in order to use some tactical stratrgies, especially attacking ones.
Technical meeting before the session
Ferreira held a meeting with the players before the session to discuss the important technical points of the upcoming match, which will be a huge test for the Wolves.
Clasico schedule changed
The QSL has announced a change in the schedule of the match between Al-Sadd and Al-Rayyan in Round 12, which will now kick off at 6:30 PM on Thursday, December 10 at the Jassim bin Hamad Stadium.
Special instructions for Khalfan
Ferreira also used the session to give special importance to Khalfan Ibrahim and his ways of movement on the pitch and overcoming an opponent.
Ferreira and Abdulrahman Nasser to attend presser
The pre-match press conference for the match against Al-Sailiya is scheduled for tomorrow and will be attended by Ferreira and Abdulrahman Nasser. It will be held at the conference hall of Al-Sadd Club from 10 AM onwards​
