Al-Sadd holds main session to prepare for Al-Kharaitiyat

The Al-Sadd football first team held its main training session on Wednesday from 6:15 PM at the Jassim bin Hamad Stadium, as part of the preparations for the upcoming QSL Round 1 match against Al-Kharaitiyat. The match is scheduled to kick off at 8:10 PM on Friday.

The Wolves go into the match on the back of an intense preseason which included training camps in Austria and Germany, in addition to sessions in Doha throughout the preparation phase, as the team looked to fully prepare the players for the start of the new season.

The coaching staff, led by Jesualdo Ferreira, held a meeting with the players before the start of Wednesday’s session, to talk about the importance of the upcoming period and the need to prepare well in order to win the first match.

The coaches prioritized tactical training during the session, with a focus on both offensive and defensive aspects. Later, Ferreira held a practice match between the players of the team.

Al-Sadd won both of its league matches against Al-Kharaitiyat in the 2015-16 season. After winning 4-2 at home, Al-Sadd also came out on top at the Suhaim bin Hamad Stadium, winning 1-0.
