Al-Sadd hold main training session to prepare for Al-Wakrah

Al-Sadd football first team held its main training session from 6 PM on Thursday at the club’s training ground, as part of the preparations for the upcoming QSL Round 20 game against Al-Wakrah, which will be played at the Jassim bin Hamad Stadium on Saturday.

Going into the match, Al-Sadd will be looking to make up for the points lost in their last game against Al-Shahaniya, which ended in a 1-1 draw. The Wolves are currently in second place in the league table with 44 points whereas Al-Wakrah are in 14th place with 13 points.

Thursday’s main training session saw the participation of all the available players, including those who did not travel with the squad to Tehran for the ACL match against Esteghlal.

The coaching staff focused on technical drills while the players who played against Esteghlal underwent a light recovery session.
