Al-Sadd hold main training session ahead of Umm Salal game

The Al-Sadd football first team held its main training session from 5:30 PM on Friday at the club’s training facility, as part of the preparations for the upcoming QNB Stars League Round 8 match against Umm Salal.

The match is set to be played at the Jassim bin Hamad Stadium on Sunday, with kick-off scheduled for 4 PM.

Al-Sadd go into the match sitting in third place in the league table with 18 points, and having won their last game against Al-Ahli 2-1.

As for Umm Salal, they are in fifth place with 13 points.

Friday’s main training session saw head coach Ferreira focus on selecting his options for the starting lineup for the game.

Hatem Kamal ruled out due to injury

Al-Sadd player Hatem Kamal has been ruled out of the game against Umm Salal after picking up a muscle injury during training.

Ferreira and Ayoob to attend the presser

Head coach Ferreira and young midfielder Ayoob Mashhoor will represent Al-Sadd in the pre-match press conference which will be held from 4 PM on Saturday at the club’s conference hall.

Final session

The final training session will be held on Saturday, and it will be followed by the squad announcement.
