Al-Sadd given cordial reception upon arrival in Tehran

The Al-Sadd first team football delegation safely reached Tehran, Iran at 11:30 PM local time (10 PM Doha) on Saturday evening, ahead of the upcoming AFC Champions League quarterfinal first leg game against Esteghlal, which is set to be played at the Azadi Stadium on Monday.

Upon their arrival, the Al-Sadd delegation was warmly welcomed by representatives of Esteghlal. The team then headed towards their place of residence – the Espinas Palace Hotel in Tehran. Later, they had their dinner before retiring to their respective rooms for the night.

The team is scheduled to have just a single training session before the game, which will be held from 8:30 PM onwards on Sunday at the match venue.
