Al-Sadd fete ‘The Philosopher’

​The Al-Sadd SC management, represented by Head of Football Mohammed Ghanem Al-Ali, honoured former club star Felipe Jorge at halftime in the QSL Round 20 match between Al-Sadd and Al-Arabi which finished 3-1 to the Wolves.

The honouring of the club legend came in acknowledgement of his efforts and contributions to the club during his time with the Wolves, where he won numerous titles including the historic quadruple in 2006/07.

Felipe was awarded a club shield, in addition to #23 jersey. The ceremony was held in the presence of sporting director Mohammed Gholam Al-Baloushi, media officer Ahmed Al-Ansari, marketing head Ahmed Al-Sayed and first team official Mohammed Saeed Al-Hassan.
