Al-Sadd delegation leaves for Malaysia

​A delegation from Al-Sadd Club left for the Malaysian capital of Kuala Lumpur on Monday evening to attend the Asian Football Confederation (AFC) workshop and the draw for the 2016 AFC Champions League, which will be held on Thursday, the 10th of December.

The delegation consists of first team manager Abdulla al-Breik and media manager Ahmed al-Ansari. The draw proceedings will begin from 11 AM on Thursday morning while the workshop will be held on Friday.

The AFC had earlier announced the procedure of the draw for the 2016 AFC Champions League, in addition to revealing the details of the qualifiying round.

The qualifying round for the West Asian region will be held on 9 February 2016. Al-Sadd will face Emirati side Al-Jazira in this stage with a one-off match scheduled to be held in Abu Dhabi. The winner will qualify for the group stage.
