Al-Sadd defeats Hammerau in a friendly

The Al-Sadd football first team registered a huge 17-0 victory over German fourth division side Hammerau, in a preseason friendly match which was held on Friday at the end of the 2016/17 foreign training camp. Al-Sadd had earlier played its first friendly against Russian side Ufa FC on Tuesday, losing 0-1.

Al-Sadd took control of the match against Hammerau from the very beginning and ended the first half with a massive lead of 13-0.

In the second half, the coaching staff made a number of substitutions. The domination continued and the Wolves increased the scoreline to 17-0 at the end of the match.

Hassan Al-Haydos and Khalfan Ibrahim scored four goals each in the first half. They were aided by two goals from Ali Asad and a goal apiece from Hossam Kamal, Mohammed Kasola and Pedro. In the second half, Abdulaziz Al-Jalabi, and Meshaal Al-Shammari scored a brace apiece.

Al-Sadd started the match with the following lineup: Muhannad Naim, Ayoob Mashhoor, Pedro, Morteza Pouraliganji, Hossam Kamal, Salem Al-Hajri, Mohammed Kasola, Xavi, Ali Asad, Hassan Al-Haydos, Khalfan Ibrahim.

Mohammed Ezzeldin, Mohammed Waad, Meshaal Al-Shammari, Gaser Yahya, Ghassan Waheed, Abdulaziz Al-Hamad and Abdulaziz Al-Jalabi came on as substitutes in the second half. Ibrahim Majid, Abdelkarim Hassan, Ahmed Sohail and Saad Al-Dosari missed out on the match due to slight injuries.
