​The football first team at Al Sadd defeated the Palestinian U19 team 4-1 in a friendly on Tuesday night. The match took place at the secondary pitch and was held as part of preparations for the Qatar Stars League. It was the third friendly match for the Wolves after their return to Doha following the end of their Austrian training camp. Al-Sadd won the first two over Al Markhiya and Mesaimeer by scores of 5-1 and 6-3 respectively.
The match remained goalless until the 30th minute when Ehab Shaheen got the opener for Palestine with a strike from outside the box. The first half thus ended with the Palestinians leading 1-0.
In the second half, the Wolves had an onslaught on the Palestinian goal with Ayoob Mashhoor finally getting the equalizer in the 51st minute. Xavi added a second from the spot with a penalty six minutes later, giving his team the lead.
The Wolves did not take long to get a third goal, with Nadir Belhadj doing the honours in the 62nd minute. Lee Jung Soo scored the final goal of the match with a header in the 67th minute. With that, the match ended in a 4-1 victory for Al-Sadd.
