Al-Sadd continue preparations for Al-Sailiya; Khalfan remains out of action
The Al-Sadd football first team held its main training session on Tuesday evening at the club’s training pitch, as part of the preparations for the upcoming QSL Round 25 game against Al-Sailiya. The game is set to kick off at 6:15 PM on Thursday at the Jassim bin Hamad Stadium.
The Wolves go into the match sitting in second place in the league table with 57 points after winning their last game 4-1 over Al-Rayyan. As for the opponents Al-Sailiya, they are in 9th place with 27 points.
The main training session saw the participation of all the available first team players, with the exception of Khalfan Ibrahim, who missed the session due to personal reasons.
The coaching staff worked on selecting their preferred options for the starting lineup. The training focused on the tactical and technical aspects of the game.
Return of Kasola, absence of Hamed
The next game against Al-Sailiya will witness the return of Mohamed Kasola, who missed the last game against Al-Rayyan in Round 24 due to suspension after picking up his fourth yellow card. Hamed Ismail is in similar circumstances and will now miss the game against Al-Sailiya after he got his fourth caution in the game against Al-Rayyan.

Tuesday’s session was attended by a TV crew from the CNN network, who are in Qatar to cover the game in the country, in association with the Supreme Committee for Delivery and Legacy. The crew held interviews with Al-Sadd’s star midfielder Xavi and Qatar national team captain Hassan Al-Haydos.
