Al-Sadd conclude preparations for El-Jaish; Hamroun returns

The Al-Sadd football team concluded on Wednesday night its preparations for the upcoming QSL Round 13 game against El-Jaish, which will be played on Thursday from 6:15 PM at the Abdullah bin Khalifa Stadium.

The final training session before the game was an intense affair with all the players in high spirits. Head coach Jesualdo Ferreira implemented light technical drills with the ball, in addition to holding a practice match between the players.

At the end of the session, Ferreira went on to announce the matchday squad for the game against El-Jaish.

The 18-man squad is as follows: Saad Al-Dosari, Muhannad Naim, Morteza Pouraliganji, Mohammed Kasola, Ibrahim Majid, Hussam Kamal, Hassan Ahmed, Jugurtha Hamroun, Xavi, Hassan Al-Haydos, Baghdad Bounedjah, Ali Asad, Pedro, Salem Al-Hajri, Musab Kheder, Hamed Ismail, Khalfan Ibrahim, Meshaal Qasim.

The Wolves later left for a closed camp at the Movenpick Hotel, where they will stay until the time of departure for the match.

Return of Hamroun; Abdelkarim misses out

The squad announcement saw the return of Jugurtha Hamroun after he successfully recovered from the muscle injury that had ruled him out of the last two games against Umm Salal and Al-Sailiya. Meanwhile, defender Abdelkarim Hassan will not be part of the action as he is suspended for the game due to the fourth yellow card he picked up in the match against Al-Sailiya.
