Al-Sadd conclude preparations for Al-Kharaitiyat; Kasola returns

Al-Sadd concluded its preparations for the upcoming Emir’s Cup quarterfinal against Al-Kharaitiyat with a training session at the club’s training pitch on Thursday evening. The quarterfinal match will kick off at 6:45 PM on Friday at the Abdullah bin Khalifa Stadium.

Technical training

The coaching staff implemented the training routine with some light technical drills with the ball before moving on to reaction exercises in small areas.

18-man matchday squad

Head coach Jesualdo Ferreira announced the 18-man matchday squad for the game against Al-Kharaitiyat.

The squad is as follows:

Kasola returns

The squad announcement saw the return of Mohamed Kasola, after he sat out the last game in the Qatar Cup final against El-Jaish due to suspension. This was after he picked up his fourth yellow card in the semifinal against Al-Rayyan.

Closed camp at Westin

After the session, the team left for a closed camp at Westin Doha Hotel, where they will stay until the time of departure for the match.
