Al-Sadd conclude preparations, Bounedjah named in squad

​Al-Sadd head coach Jesualdo Ferreira has announced the list of probables for the upcoming Qatar Stars League Round 21 game against Al-Gharafa which is set to kick off at 7:30 PM at the Jassim bin Hamad Stadium on Monday.

The 18-man list is as follows: Saad Al-Dosari, Muhannad Naim, Musab Khodr, Abdelkarim Hassan, Mohammed Kasola, Morteza Pouraliganji, Nadir Belhadj, Xavi, Hamad Mansour, Gaser Yahya, Nasser Ibrahim, Hassan Al-Haydos, Meshaal Al-Shammari, Hamza Al-Sanhaji, Ali Faydh, Hossam Kamal, Salem Al-Hajri, Baghdad Bounedjah.
The squad announcement witnessed the first appearance for Algerian striker Baghdad Bounedjah and also the continued absence of Talal Al-Baloushi due to injury, in addition to Khalfan Ibrahim and Ibrahim Majid, who miss out as they are not match fit. Ali Asad is also out due to injury.
Al-Sadd concluded their preparations for the Gharafa game after their training session on Sunday evening, which started at 6 PM at the main ground of Jassim bin Hamad Stadium. The coaching staff put the players to their paces and focused on light technical drills. After the session, the team moved on to the Grand Heritage Hotel where they will stay for a closed camp until the time of departure for the match.
