Al-Sadd bid farewell to Lee and welcome Pouraliganji

​The Al-Sadd football first team trained on Wednesday evening as part of preparing for the QSL Round 16 game against Al-Wakrah and the session witnessed the first participation of Iranian defender Morteza Pouraliganji, who signed as a replacement for South Korean defender Lee Jung Soo.

The Al-Sadd players bid farewell to Lee Jung Soo before the start of the session, honouring and thanking him for his contribution over the period he spent at the club. The team also welcomed the new arrival Pouraliganji who has signed with the team until the end of the ongoing 2015-16 season.

Head coach Jesualdo Ferreira expressed his best wishes to Lee Jung Soo for his future, pointing out that this is way of life and football as one player leaves and another replaces him.

Ferreira also spoke about the welcome given to Pouraliganji, wishing him the best for the upcoming endeavours with the Al-Sadd team.
