Al-Sadd has been named as one of the top 300 clubs in the world, in a the latest monthly rankings published by the Footballdatabase website.

The Wolves are at 208th place in the world rankings, 13th in Asia and 1st in Qatar with 1521 points. They are followed in Qatar by Lekhwiya, who are 16th in Asia with 1505 points and El Jaish, who are 50th in the continent with 1417 points.
FC Barcelona topped the global rankings ahead of Real Madrid, Bayern Munich, Paris Saint Germain and Manchester City, who rounded off the top five in the world.

On the Asian level, Guangzhou Evergrande are the best, followed by the Saudi clubs Al-Ahli, Al-Hilal and Al-Nassr in 2nd, 3rd and 4th. Jeonbuk Hyundai are in 5th place.
