Al-Sadd begins preparations for Al-Hilal clash, Abdelkarim returns to training
The Al-Sadd first team resumed training on Wednesday, after a 3-1 win over Al-Sailiya in the QNB Stars League on the previous day.
The result took the Wolves to the top of the table, with a tally of 12 points after four wins out of four games.
Al-Sadd are currently preparing for the upcomng AFC Champions League semifinal first leg clash with Al-Hilal, which will be played on Tuesday at the Jassim bin Hamad Stadium.
During Wednesday’s training session, the players who had appeared in the Al-Sailiya game underwent recovery training, while the rest of the team worked on physical exercises and technical drills with the ball.
The players will now continue training on Thursday before taking a day off on Friday.
The session also saw the return to training of Abdelkarim Hassan, who had missed the last game against Al-Sailiya due to an illness.
