Al-Sadd begin preparations for the Clasico

The Al-Sadd football first team began their preparations for the upcoming QNB Stars League clash against Al-Rayyan, with a training session on Tuesday evening at the club’s training pitch.

The team resumed training without taking a day off, after having got past Esteghlal in the quarterfinals of the AFC Champions League on Monday.

Jesualdo Ferreira’s men will now prepare for the Clasico clash with Al-Rayyan, which is set to be played on Saturday at the Jassim bin Hamad Stadium.

Al-Sadd currently have 10 points from four games, with one postponed game against Al-Khor yet to be played.

Tuesday’s training session saw the participation of all the Wolves stars, and witnessed a number of activities including recovery exercises and skill drills with the ball.
