Al-Breik: Happy with the win, the performance & the spirit of the team

Al-Sadd first team manager Abdullah Al-Breik congratulated the players after they opened the 2016/17 season with a 4-0 victory over Al-Kharaitiyat in the Qatar Stars League. He also expressed his happiness with the performance and the spirit showed by the team throughout the match.

Speaking to the club’s official website after the match, Al-Breik said: “I am happy with the win and the three points which will be a great boost for us at the start of the campaign. The players showed their responsibility and succeeded in confirming their readinness after an intense preseason.”

The manager also added: “The first match is always difficult for any team and most players are not at their true levels. But the Al-Sadd players reacted strongly and got the first win in a deserved manner.”
Al-Breik expressed his happiness with the performance of new Algerian signing Jugurtha Hamroun and his ability to synchronize with the team quickly. He also commended the good performances of Khalfan Ibrahim and upcoming youngster Hossam Kamal.

Al-Breik concluded by saying: “I hope this big win over Al-Kharaitiyat will be a boost for the players in the upcoming matches, which are going to be tougher. Al-Sadd players are capable of achieving more victories.”
