AFC Champions League: Al-Sadd to play in yellow kit, Persepolis in red
The pre-match coordination meeting for the AFC Champions League semifinal second leg clash between Persepolis and Al-Sadd was held at the Iranian FA headquarters in Tehran on Monday.
After a 1-0 win for Persepolis in Doha, Al-Sadd will look to make amends and fight for a spot in the final when the two teams face off again on Tuesday at the Azadi Stadium. The game is set to kick off at 6:30 PM local time (6 PM Doha).
During Monday’s meeting, the two teams revealed their respective kits. Al-Sadd will wear their all-yellow third kit while Persepolis will play in red.
The meeting also saw the attendees discuss various organisational details, including special instructions from the AFC regarding security and the designated areas for the media and medical staff.
Match commissioner Yoon Mung Chun chaired the meeting, which was attended by referees observor Shankar Kumaleshwaran, anti-doping official Saryan Singh and representatives of the two clubs. Al-Sadd was represented by first team manager Abdullah Al-Breik.
