AFC Champions League: Al-Sadd set to depart for Riyadh on Saturday, ahead of Al-Nassr clash

The Al-Sadd first team delegation is set to depart for Riyadh, Saudi Arabia on Saturday aboard a chartered flight via Kuwait, ahead of the upcoming AFC Champions League quarter-final first leg against Al-Nassr. The game will be played on Monday evening at the King Fahd Stadium.

The Wolves reached the last eight of the competition after getting past Al-Duhail in the Round of 16, with a 4-2 aggregate win.

Meanwhile, the first team players practiced as usual on Thursday at the club’s training facility. This followed a 4-1 win over Al-Wakrah in the QNB Stars League opener on the previous day.

The players who had appeared in that game underwent recovery training inside the club gym, while the rest of the team worked on physical training and technical skills. The players will now get a day off on Friday and then have their final training session in Doha on Saturday, before leaving for Riyadh.
