AFC Champions League: Al-Sadd conclude preparations for Al-Nassr clash

Al-Sadd wrapped up their preparations for the upcoming AFC Champions League quarterfinal second leg clash against Al-Nassr tomorrow.

At the end of the final session on Sunday evening, head coach Xavi Hernandez announced an 18-man matchday squad for the game, which is as follows: Saad Al-Dosari, Meshaal Barsham, Ahmed Sayyar, Abdelkarim Hassan, Ali Asad, Hussain Bahzad, Hassan Al-Haydos, Baghdad Bounedjah, Hamed Ismail, Gabi, Tarek Salman, Khoukhi Boualem, Salem Al-Hajri, Akram Afif, Nam Tae-hee, Jung Woo-young, Pedro Miguel, Hashim Ali.

South Korean midfielder Nam Tae-hee returns to the squad after a three-week absence due to the injury he sustained in the Sheikh Jassim Cup game against Al-Duhail. Meanwhile, Abdulaziz Al-Ansari has been ruled out of the game due to a muscle injury.

The final session was attended by a group of Al-Sadd fans, who showed up at the ground to support the team ahead of the big game.

Later, the squad left for a camp at the Torch hotel, where they will stay overnight before leaving for the game tomorrow.
