AFC Champions League: Al-Sadd conclude preparations for Al-Ahli clash
The Al-Sadd football first team concluded preparations for the upcoming game against Saudi side Al-Ahli with a final training session on Sunday evening at the club’s training facility. The AFC Champions League Round of 16 first leg game is set to be played on Monday at the Jassim bin Hamad Stadium.
During the session, the coaching staff focused on physical training and light technical drills, in addition to holding a practice mini-game. At the end of the session, head coach Jesualdo Ferreira announced the 18-man matchday squad for the game.
The squad is as follows: Saad Al-Dosari, Meshaal Barsham, Yasir Abubakar, Saoud Al-Nasr, Baghdad Bounedjah, Xavi, Khoukhi Boualem, Hamid Ismail, Morteza Pouraliganji, Abdelkarim Hassan, Akram Afif, Musab Kheder, Salem Al-Hajri, Hassan Ahmed, Ahmed Suhail, Hassan Al-Haydos, Ahmed Sayyar and Ali Ferydoon.
Later, the team left for a closed camp at the Westin Doha Hotel, where they will stay overnight before leaving for the game tomorrow.
