Al-Sadd reserves lost to Mesaimeer 0-3

Al-Sadd reserve football team lost to Mesaimeer 0-3 in a friendly match which was played at the secondary pitch of the club on Saturday. The match was held as part of preparation for Round 9 of the QSL.
The match saw the participation of some members of the first team, in addition to reserve and youth team players. Nadir Belhadj and Khalfan Ibrahim took part in order to improve their levels of preparedness for the upcoming matches. Internationals who are away with the senior and Olympic national teams were absent. Four players from the first team – Xavi, Talal al Baloushi, Muriqui and Lee Jung Soo – also missed out.
Mesaimeer opened the scoring in the first half when Al-Haj Mohammed scored in the 33rd minute. They added two more in the second half through Da Silva (65th and 84th).
Al-Sadd Starting XI: Steven Tedga, Abdulrahman Nasser, Gaser Yahya, Ali Faydh, Omar Yahya, Nadir Belhadj, Hamad Mansour, Ayoob Mashhoor, Khalfan Ibrahim, Nasser Ibrahim, Meshaal al-Shammari.
Hussain Behzad, Ghassan Waheed, Saoud Ibrahim and Mousa Mohammed entered in the second half.
