​Al-Haydos: I’ve recovered completely, ready to face Umm Salal

​Al-Sadd striker Hassan al-Haydos stressed that he is fully ready to face Umm Salal in the QSL Round 15 tie on Sunday.

Speaking to the club website, Al-Haydos said: “Praise be to God, I have completely recovered from the ankle injury I sustained in the match against El Jaish which led to me missing the Mesaimeer match. I am at the service of the coaching staff in the next match.”

He added: “There is no doubt that the match will be a very difficult one as everyone knows that the opponent is strong, one which always excels against the big teams. And so we need to play the match with all seriousness to get the win.”

Before signing off, Al-Haydos said: “I think that despite the difficulty of competing for the title this season, we will fight hard and do everything we can to keep hold of hope and stay in the race, by winning all our remaining matches with the faltering of the competitors.”
