Al-Sadd host children with Down Syndrome

Ahead of the QNB Stars League Round 21 game against Al-Khor, Al-Sadd SC hosted children with Down Syndrome at the Jassim bin Hamad Stadium.

The children attended the game as part of Al-Sadd’s cooperation with seven special needs centres, as part of the World Down Syndrome Day activities, which include many sports activities for people with mental and motor disabilities. The aim of such events is to improve and develop services for children with special needs in Qatar.

Prior to kick-off, the children held the hands of the Al-Sadd and Al-Khor players and accompanied them onto the pitch, wearing T-shirts marking the event. This comes as part of Al-Sadd’s CSR activities and also helps send a message to society through football.
