Al-Sadd conclude preparations for Al-Ahli; Hamroun and Morteza return

The Al-Sadd football first team began a closed camp at the Westin Doha Hotel on Sunday night after concluding their final training session ahead of Monday’s QSL Round 15 match against Al-Ahli. The game is set to kick off at 6:25 PM at the Hamad bin Khalifa Stadium.

During Sunday’s final training session at the club’s training ground, the players were in high spirits as they prepared for the crucial match, which they hope to win in order to remain in contention for the top spot.

After implementing the physical fitness routine, the focus shifted to technical training. The players then practiced dead ball situations, from the wings and also from deep.

At the end of the session, head coach Jesualdo Ferreira announced the matchday squad for the match against Al-Ahli. The squad announcement saw the return of Jugurtha Hamroun and Morteza Pouraliganji after the duo missed the last match due to suspension.

The 18-man squad is as follows: Saad Al-Dosari, Muhannad Naim, Abdelkarim Hassan, Morteza Pouralganji, Ibrahim Majid, Hussam Kamal, Hassan Balank, Ahmed Sohail, Xavi, Gaser Yahya, Hamza Al-Sanhaji, Jugurtha Hamroun, Pedro, Salem al-Hajri, Musab Kheder, Hamed Ismail, Mohammed Waad, Meshaal Qasim.

The Wolves then left for the closed camp at Westin Doha Hotel, where they will stay until the time of departure for the match.
