Salem Al-Hajri: We don’t feel the pressure, hope to make the fans happy

Al-Sadd midfielder Salem Al-Hajri stressed on the importance of his team’s upcoming game against Al-Ahli in the penultimate round of the QNB Stars League.

Speaking at the pre-match press conference, Al-Hajri said: “It is the match of the season for us and there isn’t any excuse for not winning.”

“We had a chance to wrap up the title against Al-Duhail. I hope that we can now clinch it at home so that we can celebrate with our fans.”

He added: “It will be a big achievement for most of the young players at the club who haven’t won the title before. We are looking forward to that moment with a lot of spirit and we will try our best to achieve that.”

Al-Hajri concluded by saying: “I hope we can celebrate with the fans and I await their presence at the stadium. There is no pressure on us. We will try hard to win so that we can officially be crowned as league champions.”
