Al-Sadd resume preparations straightaway to prepare for Al-Duhail

The Al-Sadd football first team resumed training on Tuesday evening, without taking a day off following the AFC Champions League game against Al-Ahli. The team is now preparing for the upcoming Emir’s Cup semifinal against Al-Duhail, which will be played at the Jassim bin Hamad Stadium on Friday.

Earlier on Monday, the Wolves had defeated Al-Ahli 2-1 in the first leg of their AFC Champions League Round of 16 clash. The second leg is set to be played in Jeddah on May 14.

During Tuesday’s session, the Al-Sadd players who had appeared in the game against Al-Ahli underwent specialized training, while the rest of the players worked on physical fitness, endurance and training drills with the ball.
