Akram Afif: Happy to be at Al-Sadd, our aim is to reach the final

Al-Sadd star Akram Afif is delighted to be at Al-Sadd and is looking forward to giving his best to help the team to victories.

Speaking at the pre-match press conference ahead of the Qatar Cup semifinal against Al-Rayyan, Afif said: “This match is the Clasico of Qatari football. It won’t be easy to play against them. Al-Rayyan will be looking to make their fans happy after departing from the Champions League. Our goal is to defeat them and reach the final.”

He added: “I am very happy to be at Al-Sadd. We are only thinking about the semifinal now. Al-Rayyan are a strong team and their players want to win this game. We must do our work in the best manner and not make mistakes in order to clinch the win.”
