Ferreira: Facing Trabzonspor will be different from the other games

Al-Sadd head coach Jesualdo Ferreira feels that his side’s upcoming friendly game against Turkish Super Lig side Trabzonspor will be a “different” game.

The Portuguese coach was speaking at the pre-match press conference ahead of Sunday’s friendly, which will be played at the Abdullah bin Khalifa Stadium.

Ferreira said: “The match is an appreciation of the great relations between Qatar and Turkey and will help to make these relations better through sport, which is a bridge for people to connect.”

He added that such games will have a “different” flavour.

The coach also spoke of his desire to see Al-Sadd perform well in the match despite missing many key players, who are away on international duty.

Ferreira went on to say: “I was hoping that we would have a full team for this match but this is impossible with the number of players who are away. But we will still try to give a strong performance despite that.”
