Al-Sadd to face Neftchi Baku in second preseason friendly

Al-Sadd will face Neftch Baku of Azerbaijan in the second of the preseason friendlies in Bad Häring on Tuesday, the 1st of August. The match is set to kick off at 6 PM local time (7 PM Doha).

The Wolves had earlier drawn 4-4 with Turkish side Goztepe in the first friendly which was played last week.

Meanwhile, the team trained as usual on Monday, Day 12 of the 2017-18 preseason camp. The morning session was held in the swimming pool while the evening session was held on the outdoor pitch. The coaching staff worked on the tactical aspects.

The preseason friendly which was set to be played against Bologna on August 3, was cancelled by the club management after the suprise decision to call up a number of the team’s stars to the Qatar national team camp in Birmingham.
