Muhannad Naim: I am used to the pressure of the big matches
Al-Sadd goalkeeper Muhannad Naim spoke of his readiness to guard the goal for the Wolves at any occasion and under any circumstances.
Speaking to media ahead of the Qatar Cup final, Muhannad said: “We are ready for the final and we will give our best in order to win our first title of the season.”
He continued: “I am always prepared to be in goal for Al-Sadd, at any time and under any circumstances. I played a number of big games previously, be it for the club or for the Olympic team. The last such game was the Clasico against Al-Rayyan. I am used to the pressure of the big games, contrary to what some think.”
Muhannad also added: “I played the last game against Al-Rayyan after Saad Al-Dosari was suspended. This was not the toughest match I have ever played in my life. I have had other hard-fought games before which were played in difficult circumstances.”
“Every player wishes to be in the starting XI. Me too, I hope to play more games in the league so that I can be better prepared for circumstances like this.”
Muhannad concluded by saying: “Whether I play or not, I am very confident in myself. I also have a good relationship with Saad Al-Dosari. Whoever plays in the final, it will be for the best interests of the team.”
