Khalfan Ibrahim suffers muscle injury; ruled out for 3 weeks
Al-Sadd midfielder Khalfan Ibrahim has been ruled out for three weeks after he was confirmed to have picked up a muscle injury during training on Friday.
Khalfan had a CT scan on Sunday morning at the Aspetar Sports Medicine Hospital, which confirmed the back muscle injury and the need for rehabilitation and physiotherapy for 3 weeks before returning to the team for training.
The team is currently preparing for the upcoming QSL Round 14 game against Al-Kharaitiyat, which will be played on January 4 at the Al-Khor Stadium.
Al-Sadd are in second place in the league standings with 31 points after the end of the first phase.
