Ferreira announces Al-Sadd squad for Shahaniya game

Al-Sadd head coach Jesualdo Ferreira has announced the squad list for the upcoming Qatar Stars League Round 6 game against Al-Shahaniya which will be played at the Grand Hamad Stadium on Wednesday.

The 18-man list consists of Saad Al-Dosari, Muhannad Naim, Hamed Ismail, Musab Kheder, Ayoob Mashhoor, Ali Asad, Hussam Kamal, Morteza Pouraliganji, Pedro Miguel, Xavi, Jugurtha Hamroun, Baghdad Bounedjah, Gaser Yahya, Ahmed Sohail, Mohammed Kasola, Abdelkarim Hassan and Ibrahim Majid.

Khalfan & Al-Haydos miss out once again

The squad announcement saw the continued absence of Hassan Al-Haydos and Khalfan Ibrahim as they have not fully recovered from injury. Al-Haydos suffered muscle pain which kept him out of the game against Muaither while Khalfan is continuing his recuperation programme after injuring his knee in training.

Return of Muhannad

Muhannad Naim returned to the squad for the game against Al-Shahaniya after missing the last game against Al-Gharafa.

Light final session

The Al-Sadd team concluded training with a final session on Tuesday at the secondary pitch from 5:30 PM. The coaching staff made the players undergo light technical training after which Ferreira announced the squad. Later, the team left for a closed camp at the Movenpick Hotel, where they will stay until the time of departure for the match.
