Muscle pain rules out Al-Haydos; Khalfan remains out of action

Hassan Al-Haydos has been ruled out of Al-Sadd’s upcoming QSL Round 5 game against Al-Gharafa which will be played on Saturday at the Thani bin Jassim Stadium.

Al-Haydos suffered muscle pain after the match against Muaither in Round 4 and will now be out of action until he recovery fully.

Meanwhile, Khalfan Ibrahim will also remain out of contention for the squad as he continues his recuperation programme after sustaining a knee injury before the Muaither match.

Al-Sadd head coach announced the 18-man squad at the end of the session: Saad Al-Dosari, Mohammed Ezzeldin, Hamed Ismail, Musab Khodr, Ahmed Sohail, Ali Asad, Hussam Kamal, Morteza Pouraliganji, Pedro Miguel, Xavi, Jugurtha Hamroun, Baghdad Bounedjah, Gaser Yahya, Salem Al-Hajri, Ayoob Mashhoor, Mohammed Kasola, Abdelkarim Hassan, Ibrahim Majid.

The Al-Sadd team earlier held the final pre-match training session from 5:30 PM at the main pitch of the Jassim bin Hamad Stadium. The coaching staff put the players to their paces, making them practice their reactions while also having them undergo light technical drills. After the end of the session, the team left for a closed camp at the Movenpick Hotel, where they will stay until the time of departure for the match.
