Mohammed Gholam: Excellent clash; happy with the performance of the players

Al-Sadd sporting director Mohammed Gholam Al-Balooshi praised the effort and the performance shown by the Al-Sadd players in the 3-3 draw with Lekhwiya in Round 3 of the Qatar Stars League.

In his post-match comments, Mohammed Gholam said: “It was a big match; both teams were exciting and they put up a great show. It was satisfactory for us at Al-Sadd especially as we managed to comeback and equalize twice after trailing.”

He added: “The Al-Sadd players had a lot of responsibility and gave a good performance. They succeeded in making amends for falling behind, particularly in the second half by putting pressure on the Lekhwiya defence.”
