Bounedjah returns to Al-Sadd training

Algerian striker Baghdad Bounedjah returned to training at Al-Sadd on Sunday after returning to Doha following his participation at the 2016 Rio Olympics with the Algerian national team.

Bounedjah played in three matches for the Algerian Olympic team against Honduras, Argentina and Portugal.

The Al-Sadd first team resumed training at 6:30 PM on Sunday at the main pitch of Jassim bin Hamad Stadium after a day of rest on Saturday.

The team is training hard as part of preparations for the start of the Qatar Stars League. This comes after the return of the team from Austria and Germany, where they held a training camp between the 16th and the 30th of July.

The coaching staff implemented the training programme with a focus on physical aspects. The players later moved on to technical skill drills, followed by a tactical session supervised by head coach Jesualdo Ferreira.
