Al-Sadd honours junior teams

Al-Sadd club management held a dinner party in the evening to honour the players of the various junior teams (born in 2004,2005,2006,2007,2008), those who had participated in the recently concluded season. The 2004 team won first place, while the 2007 and 2008 teams also won their categories. The 2005 and 2006 teams finished in second place. These results helped the junior setup of the club to finish in second place in the running for the Football Excellence Shield for the junior category.

Head of Football Mohammed Ghanem Al-Ali, gave the welcome adress, welcoming all attendees and thanking the parents for the support during the season and for encouraging their wards. He said: “Al-Sadd Club is not just the football team but it is a school that prioritises character-building and good conduct, in addition to football.” He went on to thank all the players for their achievements in the season.

The Head of Football gave away awards honouring the officials of the various age group teams, headed by Khaled Mohammed Al-Qamash in addition to other managers and technical staff. Some parents also gave away awards to the players.
