​The players of Al-Sadd football first team was given three days off as rest before the restart of preparation for the upcoming game against Al-Sailiya in Round 24 of the Qatar Stars League. The match is scheduled to be played on the 2nd of April at the Hamad bin Khalifa Stadium.

The team had resumed training on Tuesday after defeating Lekhwiya 3-2 in their Round 23 game. The team trained intensively for 3 days, particularly to prepare those players who have not played regularly in recent weeks.
The first team will return to training at 6 PM on Monday at the secondary pitch in order to continue the preparation for the next game. Al-Sadd are currently in third place in the standings with 42 points.

On Thursday, the team trained from 10 AM on the secondary pitch and the coaching staff focusing on the physical, technical and tactical aspects of the game.
