Al-Haydos: Proud of the award, it is extra responsibility

​Al-Sadd star Hassan al-Haydos has expressed his happiness in winning the 2015 Qatari Player of the Year award after the vote conducted by Estad Doha magazine. The player said that he was grateful to all those who nominated him for the award and also to his family and friends at the club, for their continued support.

Al-Haydos said that this award was a crowning for every player at Al-Sadd Club, and that the win would not have come without the team work. He also expressed his gratitude to the coaching staff and the management.

The Qatar captain added: “Winning this award will make me work extra harder in the upcoming period until I am satisfied with my performance. I will work to give the best of what I have for my club and country.”

To conclude, the 2015 Player of the Year expressed his thanks to the Estad Doha magazine, adding that winning the award twice in a row is an honour which pushes him to give his best. ​
