Al-Sadd concludes preparations for Mesaimeer friendly

​The Al-Sadd football first team concluded on Thursday evening preparations for the friendly match against Mesaimeer. The match will be played at the Jassim bin Hamad Stadium and will kick off at 4:15 PM on Friday.
The coaching staff will look to keep the players focused and ready for the upcoming Qatar Stars League matches during the ongoing international break. The next QSL match will be the Round 5 fixture against Qatar SC on October 18.
The session on Thursday saw the participation of Xavi following his return from London where he spent the last two days attending the Leaders Under 40 ceremony alongside other global stars. The team is currently missing 10 international players who are either with the Olympic or the senior Qatar national teams, in addition to Saad al-Dosari who is out with a foot injury.
During the session, the coaching staff looked to improve the technical and tactical aspects of the players, varying between the defensive and offensive sides of the game. There was also an emphasis on quick movement and continuous pressure on the opponent.
