​Spanish star and Al-Sadd midfielder Xavi Hernandez has expressed his delight in winning the Best Player in the QSL award for the month of September. He said that the award would motivate him to perform even better and that the competition in the QSL has gotten tougher.

Speaking to the club website, the player also said that he dedicates this award to the players and management of the team for the hard work they put in to lead the team to wins. He conlcuded by making a statement in the dressing room after the training session on Wednesday: “Thank you, my team!”
