​Spanish star Xavi Hernandez said that he was delighted with the big 4-1 win his Al-Sadd team registered against Al-Wakrah in Round 3 of the Qatar Stars League (QSL). He pointed out that Al-Sadd deserved to win after putting up a great performance, especially in the second half.

The legend went on to say in an exclusive statement to Al-Kass TV: The level of the QSL has been good so far especially with greater competition for the top spot from teams like Lekhwiya and Al-Rayyan.

Xavi added: “Al-Sadd is a great team and we always behave like a single family.”
